Murder In The Meghalaya Hills, Honeymoon Horror Unravels

More twists in the Meghalaya honeymoon murder case with Sonam Raghuvanshi, the prime suspect in her husband Raja's brutal killing - now being taken by police on a three-day transit remand to Shillong for further investigation. Police allege Sonam orchestrated the murder with her lover, Raj Kushwaha, hiring three contract killers just days after her May 11 wedding. Raja's body was found in a gorge on June 2, killed by a machete. Sonam surrendered under pressure in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, while three accomplices are in custody. Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma speaks exclusively to NDTV and lauds the role carried out by the cops.
