Senior BJP leader Kirit Somaiya has demanded a ban on offering namaz in public spaces, particularly on roads and near railway stations in Mumbai. In this regard, Somaiya has written to the municipal commissioner and the Mumbai Police Commissioner, urging authorities to take action.
