The monsoon has finally arrived in Mumbai, bringing heavy rainfall that has left several parts of the city waterlogged and disrupted normal life. Authorities have issued advisories as vehicles struggle through flooded roads and low-lying areas report inundation. Rain-related incidents were also reported, including a tree falling on a parked car in Dadar due to strong winds and a retaining wall collapse near a residential building in Vikhroli West. Civic teams have been deployed to clear waterlogging hotspots while the IMD has warned of continued rainfall, thunderstorms, and gusty winds across the city.
