Mumbai Metro Phase 3 Inauguration | Inside Mumbai Metro Line 3 Final Phase, PM Modi To Inaugurate Mumbai Metro Line 3 (Aqua Line) is scheduled to fully open on Oct. 8. It is the city’s first underground metro line and is also known as the Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ line. The upcoming final stretch of this metro line runs from Science Centre in central Mumbai to Cuffe Parade in south Mumbai. This final stretch covers 11 key stations in South Mumbai and links key railway and commercial and business and government hubs like fort and Nariman Point. The last stretch of the underground metro line runs through some of the most congested areas of Mumbai like Kalbadevi and connects key railway stations like Mumbai Central and Churchgate stations on the Western Line and the iconic Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus on the Central line.
