Mulayam Singh Yadav's Younger Son, Prateek Yadav, Dies At 38

Prateek Yadav, son of late Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, died at the age of 38 years in Lucknow. He was brought dead at the Lucknow civil hospital on Wednesday. He was the husband of BJP leader Aparna Yadav and stepbrother of former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav. Per police sources, he was brought to the hospital by his family members at 6.15 am, where he was declared dead. His wife was not present at the time. A panel of doctors at the King George Medical University and hospital will soon perform a post-mortem examination of the body to ascertain the cause of death. Per initial observations, there were no visible signs of injury on the body.
