MP: Farmers protest Singrauli SEZ

Work at the 1200 megawatt Essar power plant site at Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh has yet to resume after a violent clash between the villagers and the administration over compensation to the displaced stalled it. Even after 24 days, thousands of farmers from the four villages around the plant are determined to fight.
