Heavy monsoon rains continue to batter several parts of India, triggering flash floods, landslides, transport disruptions and weather alerts across multiple states.
In Jammu and Kashmir, flash floods and mudslides have disrupted connectivity, with Doda and Kishtwar among the worst-hit districts. In Maharashtra, relentless rain has claimed lives, disrupted road and rail traffic, and caused widespread waterlogging. Delhi witnessed intense rainfall, prompting a red alert for parts of the capital and warnings of thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh remains on high alert for landslides and flooding, while in Kerala's Wayanad, a deadly landslide has left at least two people dead, with rescue operations underway.
