Mittal bid: Arcelor may bypass shareholders
The Luxembourg Ambassador to India has said that a European Union Bill will give Arcelor the option of bypassing shareholders on the takeover bid by steel tycoon LN Mittal. Speaking to NDTV, Paul Steinmetz admitted the media rhetoric might not be enough to keep Mittal out of Arcelor. "May not have any choice but to sell if public at large agree," said Steinmetz.
