Mining mafia allegedly murders IPS officer
Narendra Kumar Singh, an IPS officer, was crushed to death under a tractor he tried to stop for carrying illegally quarried stones in Madhya Pradesh's Morena district. Singh's father alleges his death is not an accident, and was carried out by a notorious mining mafia in the state. Narendra Kumar was 31. His wife, also an IAS officer, is expecting their first child.
