Pratibha Bhatnagar first noticed her son Akshay's behaviour to be different from the norm when he was around two years old. His irritability, frequent crying and isolation from other children led the doctors to believe that Akshay, as a child, had been lacking in his intellectual development--- a diagnosis which led Pratibha to resign from her government job to take care of her son.
