Marh MLA Surinder Bhagat Cycles Across Constituency To Save Fuel

Taking inspiration from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for fuel conservation and simple living, Marh MLA Surinder Bhagat has chosen to travel across his constituency on a bicycle instead of using his vehicle. Bhagat now covers nearly 15 to 16 kilometres every morning and evening while interacting directly with residents and hearing their concerns. In a notable move, even members of his security team have reduced vehicle usage and are accompanying him on bicycles. The initiative is being seen as both an effort to conserve fuel and strengthen grassroots public outreach.
