Addressing a joint press conference with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar said India maintains strong relationships with the United States, Israel, Iran, and Gulf nations, and approaches regional conflicts through a policy of "multi-alignment." Jaishankar stressed that India's priorities in West Asia include peace and stability, the welfare of the Indian diaspora, lower energy prices, and safe maritime commerce.
