Days after partially reopening schools till 8th standard amid sporadic violence in Manipur, as the second major move towards normalcy, the government is trying to get farmers back to their fields to restart agricultural activities. The Manipur government will provide security to farmers engaged in agricultural activities. For this, the state had recently reduced the number of security personnel deployed on VIP duty and will utilise them in providing security to farmers. Ratnadip Choudhury reports.
