Mamata Banerjee: 'Why No S.I.R in North-Eastern States?'
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has launched a sharp attack on the Centre over the ongoing S.I.R exercise in the state. She questioned why the process is being carried out "hurriedly" in Bengal while, according to her, similar exercises are not taking place in North-East states like Manipur and Assam.
