Hundreds of passengers arriving from Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Goa were seen waiting for their turn to undergo a test for coronavirus at railway stations and airports across Maharashtra. Mumbai's civic body, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), deployed its staff across stations in Mumbai to screen passengers to check for their Covid negative certificates. The civic body also asked its ward officers to Conduct Rapid Antigen Tests on symptomatic passengers at the railway stations and to coordinate with private laboratories for collection of samples for antigen testing. This comes after the state government put travel restrictions on passengers coming from these four states.
