In recent years, Bihar has become synonymous with migration. A common narrative, as well as a reality on the ground, is that many people from Bihar do not want to work within the state. They seek jobs elsewhere, where they can find better livelihoods and higher salaries. We are currently at a brick factory in Madhubani, where the new Bihar is being built. We spoke to some workers about their expectations from the government.
