Lucknow Fire Tragedy | How Safety Lapses Turned Lucknow Coaching Centre Into A Death Trap

At least 15 students were killed after a massive fire broke out at a building housing a coaching centre in the Aliganj area of northwest Lucknow on Monday. Several people were trapped after the fire erupted, forcing some students to jump from the first floor. The fire raged for over an hour and 24 people were taken to the hospital, of which 15 were declared dead. Four officials were suspended, including two from the Lucknow Development Authority and one each from the electricity and fire departments, and a two-member special investigation team (SIT) has been set up to investigate the incident.
