Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar Charged In US Over Khalistani Terrorist Nijjar's Murder
The United States has unsealed a federal indictment charging Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar in connection with the alleged murder of Khalistani extremist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada. Prosecutors allege Bishnoi directed the conspiracy from prison using contraband mobile phones and encrypted communication platforms. The indictment comes alongside Operation Hardball, a coordinated law enforcement action involving the US, Canada and European agencies that resulted in 24 arrests, including 11 in California, as authorities intensified their crackdown on alleged transnational organised crime networks.
