Kishore Patil of KPIT Tech tells NDTV that the company has 10 product patents for making smart electric buses suitable for Indian conditions. It has the technology to produce indigenous electric buses at half the cost abroad or even retrofit existing diesel buses to convert them into electric buses, he adds.
