Army Builds Bailey Bridge To Rescue Kishtwar Villagers Stranded By Flash Flood

The number of dead due to a cloudburst in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district rose to 60, as rescuers continued operations for the fourth day on Sunday, effecting three more blasts to blow up boulders around a major impact spot, officials said. Army engineers have built a bailey bridge to restore connectivity to Chisoti village and Machail Mata shrine and further intensify the rescue efforts.
