A private school chairman in Kerala's Thrissur has expressed regret over his controversial "send them to Pakistan" remark aimed at students who skipped the school's Independence Day celebrations. Dr Raju Davis, chairman of Raju Davis International School in Mala, said he was sorry if his words hurt anyone and insisted the comment was not intended to insult anyone. His remarks, posted in a parents' WhatsApp group, sparked protests and controversy after they surfaced on social media.
