Road accidents, especially fatal ones, have been on the rise in India, and, a day ago, in just 24 hours, Karnataka recorded 51 road accidents deaths, making it one of the deadliest days on the state's roads. It's a statistic that brings to focus the extremely important issue of road safety. And, one of the key aspects of road safety is the quality of drivers we put on the roads which is a direct result of how we issue licences.
