The Congress government in Karnataka is looking at ways to review or undo changes to textbooks brought in by the earlier BJP government - though the government has made it clear that the printed books will not be withdrawn, it says a separate booklet will be sent to all schools which may have new chapters along with guidelines. The BJP has threatened a protest if chapters related to Savarkar and RSS founder Hedgewar are removed or edited.
