Jan Niti: The AI Platform That Predicts Policy Impact Before Decisions Are Made

Faridabad-based IIT Kanpur and Stanford engineers Saksham Pruthi and Rishika Saraswat are building JanNiti, an AI platform designed to simulate how governments, businesses and communities may respond to major decisions before they are implemented. The founders say their technology can identify risks, implementation gaps and unintended consequences-turning years of real-world outcomes into weeks of simulation. On Vande Bharatam, they explain how Jan Niti has been tested on projects including the Jal Jeevan Mission and how they could use the technology to assess projects such as Dharavi redevelopment.
