Jamui Molestation Case: 3 Arrested, POCSO Charges Invoked; 8 More Names Under Probe
Three people have been arrested in the Jamui molestation case, including two reportedly aged between 17 and 18. Police have formed a Special Investigation Team under the supervision of the Jamui SDPO, while POCSO and other charges have been invoked. The Bihar Police say the names of seven to eight more youths have surfaced and anyone found involved will face legal action. Authorities have also begun takedown action against social media accounts circulating the video of the minors, warning that revealing or sharing their identities can attract action under POCSO and the Juvenile Justice Act.
