Jammu-Srinagar Highway Closed Due To Restoration Work
The only road link that connects Kashmir with the rest of the country continues to remain closed and restoration work on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway will take at least one more week. The highway was partially opened on Sunday, but a bridge collapsed and a portion of a road caved in. Officials say the restoration work is being carried out fast but will take time to construct a temporary bridge.
