Israeli troops have captured Beaufort Castle, a Crusader-era fortress in southern Lebanon, marking their deepest incursion into the country in more than 26 years. Israel last held the castle from 1982 until its withdrawal from southern Lebanon in 2000. Images released by the Israeli military showed troops raising Israeli flags at the site.
