Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth blasted the media and “ungrateful” European allies Thursday, insisting they should be thanking President Donald Trump for his "courage" as the U.S. presses on it its war with Iran. "The world, the Middle East, our ungrateful allies in Europe, even segments of our own press, should be saying one thing to President Trump: Thank you," Hegseth demanded. "Thank you, for doing the work of the free world," he added.
