Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, reaffirmed that Tehran is not pursuing nuclear weapons and is open to verification of its nuclear programme to show its peaceful intent. Pezeshkian made the remarks amid ongoing indirect nuclear talks with the United States in Geneva, stressing that Iran’s leadership has repeatedly declared it does not and will not seek a nuclear weapon, while maintaining its right to peaceful nuclear technology.
