In today's episode of India Global, Iranian foreign minister Abbas Araghchi is in india to co-chair the 20th India-Iran joint commission meeting in New Delhi. This marks his first visit to India since assuming office in August last year. External Affairs Minister Jaishankar held bilateral talks with the Iranian foreign minister, who is visiting New Delhi days after visiting Islamabad, as Tehran seeks to mediate between the nuclear-armed neighbors. During the meet, EAM Jaishankar told his Iranian counterpart that India does not intend to escalate tension with Pakistan. However, Jaishankar cautioned that Delhi would not sit back if it was faced a military attack.
