Iran Divided: Hardliners vs Negotiators Ahead Of US Talks | Bagher Ghalibaf | Iran News

Signs of internal divisions are emerging within Iran over a possible deal with the United States. Iran’s parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has reportedly criticised hardline factions for attempting to derail negotiations, warning that extremist elements could harm the country’s future. He also expressed concerns about potential political fallout for himself and Abbas Araghchi, both key figures in the talks. Hardliners, including Saeed Jalili and Amir Hossein Sabeti, are alleged to be mobilising opposition against the deal, raising questions over whether internal resistance could derail diplomacy with the US.
