Initiative In Kolkata Empowering Women From Impoverished Communities Through Music
The Tomorrowland Foundation which is associated with the famous electronic dance music or EDM festival in Belgium hopes to create more performers from India by associating with an NGO - Ektara school and building a 7000sqft large music and arts school in Topsia in Kolkata to encourage young girls from less privileged communities to learn to express themselves creatively, through music, theatre and arts. NDTV spoke to the persons behind the initiative that aims to educate, engage and enable girls from impoverished communities.
