Inflations Cools Below 6%, Industrial Production Contracts By 4%

In Inflation cheer for India's economy, retail inflation has come within the RBI's tolerance band for the first time after 10 consecutive months. Retail inflation has eased to 5.88% in November vs 6.8% in October. This has primarily been due to food inflation easing, however, industrial production has contracted by 4% for the month of October. Sakshi Bajaj reports.
