Indian names make it to the moon

The Indian mission to the moon Chandrayaan-1 offers an unprecedented opportunity to map the moon in detail like never before. Among the most prominent features on the moon are craters, that pock mark its entire moon surface and there has been a tradition to name these after well-known people like Galileo, Copernicus, and others.
