The government today assured parliament that it will do everything possible to get Kulbhushan Jadhav, who has been given death sentence by Pakistan military court after being convicted of spying and fomenting unrest in the province of Balochistan, released. Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj called the sentence indefensible and said that Pakistan should be prepared to face the consequences. Tension is rising as Pakistan defends the sentence and the question is will it get worse than a freeze in ties?
