A fresh India-US media row has erupted after US envoy to India Sergio Gor claimed that India preferred a media interaction without questions during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meeting with Donald Trump at the G7 Summit. Gor said India wanted the media present but did not want a full-fledged press conference. Government sources, however, say India took a cautious approach given Trump's past public exchanges and maintained that standard VVIP protocol was followed.
