India Shines At Cannes 2024 With Major Wins For Indian Films

India is once again on the big stage of world cinema. Kolkata-born Anasuya Sengupta made history by winning the Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival. Payal Kapadia's 'All We Imagine as Light' bagged the Grand Prix -the second-highest award at the Cannes Film Festival. 'Sunflowers Were the First Ones to Know...' from Chidananda S Naik, a student from FTII, Pune, received La Cinef Award for best short.
