PM Modi is set to flag off India's first hydrogen-powered train, Namo Green, on the Jind-Sonipat route in Haryana. Powered by hydrogen fuel cells and emitting only water vapour, the train marks a major leap in India's clean mobility journey. With 10 coaches and a capacity of around 2,600 passengers, it is being touted as the world's longest hydrogen-powered train and positions India among a select group of nations using hydrogen rail technology.
