A close look at AI’s “gold rush” chip: get a rare hands-on experience with an NVIDIA computer system. NVIDIA’s advanced GPUs are the backbone of the global AI boom. Costing millions of dollars per rack and consuming massive amounts of power, these systems are in short supply worldwide. India currently has just 38,000 such GPUs—far below what’s needed to scale artificial intelligence nationwide. NDTV’s Science Editor Pallava Bagla spoke exclusively with Mr. Ketan Sharmakaloni, Product Manager (Servers) at ASUS Technology Pvt. Ltd., who gave us a tour of the most advanced NVIDIA chip.
