The Supreme Court is expected to decide tomorrow whether an independent investigation should be held into the death of judge BH Loya. Several petitions called for an inquiry last year after questions were raised from some quarters about the sudden death of the judge, who was handling the politically sensitive Sohrabuddin fake encounter case where BJP chief Amit Shah was an accused. The judge who replaced him ruled that there was not enough evidence against Mr Shah to merit a trial.
