Fault lines within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Bihar are deepening with a few state legislators openly attacking the party's leadership and rooting for adversary Nitish Kumar as Prime Minister. Mr Kumar and his Janata Dal United (JD-U) quit a 17-year partnership with the BJP last month over its decision to place Narendra Modi in charge of its election campaign.
