When asked if India was in a  good position at the moment as the president of the G20 to channel the voices of the global south, Chandrikapersad Santokhi, the President of Suriname said, "it is very important that PM Narendra Modi should be the voice not only for the G20 members, who have a seat already at the table, but for so many other countries who don't have a seat, and don't have a voice. And I think that the PM had a very good initiative, good strategy to include the entire world."
