IDF Releases Video It Says Shows Israeli Jets Attacking Helicopters In Tehran Airport

The Israel Defense Force has released video purportedly showing Israeli jets attacking helicopters in Tehran airport. The Israeli military said its Air Force completed overnight “a large-scale wave of strikes aimed at degrading the Iranian Air Force and the IRGC Air Force at airports in Tehran.” “Dozens of Israeli Air Force fighter jets struck numerous aerial assets, including aircraft and helicopters, as well as additional military infrastructure at three airports across Tehran, Bahram Airport, Mehrabad Airport, Azmayesh Airport,” said the Israeli military in a statement released Monday. Earlier, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said that Israel attacked the South Pars petrochemical plant at Asaluyeh in Iran. He made the announcement after Iran said the facility had been attacked. An Israeli attack in March on South Pars facilities sparked major Iranian attacks targeting oil and gas infrastructure across the Gulf Arab states.
