UPG Air Chief Marshal AP Singh flew a MiG-29UPG ‘Baaz’ sortie from a frontline airbase under the Western Air Command, reviewing the Indian Air Force’s operational readiness. The 45-minute flight, conducted in a two-jet formation, highlighted the role of the upgraded fighter - equipped with advanced radar, extended range and modern avionics - in India’s air defence network. The IAF Chief also assessed infrastructure, crew preparedness and maintenance standards at the base.
