Leslee Udwin, director and producer of the documentary, 'India's Daughter', talks to NDTV on why she wanted to interview one of the men convicted of raping a young student in Delhi in December 2012. Ms Udwin says her objectives were honest and that she was working towards putting an end to gender inequality in India and she wanted Indians to see the film first. She also admits to being raped and says the shame is of the rapist, not hers.
