'I Drank Water Only After His Request': Devendra Mahato on Sonam Wangchuk's Call

Student leader Devendra Mahato, who is leading the hunger strike over alleged irregularities in the JPSC examination, spoke exclusively to NDTV from the protest site in Ranchi.

Mahato revealed that Sonam Wangchuk personally reached out to him through a video call after learning that he had even given up water during his fast. According to Mahato, Wangchuk expressed concern for his health, extended support to the student movement, and urged the Jharkhand government to listen to the students' demands.
