Protests at Hyderabad's Maulauna Azad National Urdu University intensified after violence broke out at Jamia Millia and Aligarh Muslim University on Sunday. Students, including young women, sat on dharna raising slogans all through the night and the demonstration continued on campus today. The police have not crossed the campus gates. Exams today were boycotted by students and were subsequently postponed by the authorities as faculty members were not let into campus. Teachers' unions are supporting the student protest.
