Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday said that there is a "tsunami-like atmosphere" in favour of the BJP and Janata Dal (United) in Bihar, asserting that the BJP, JD(U), and their allies are set to return to power. Launching a sharp attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Sarma said, "Rahul Gandhi is an enemy of the country, and the enemies of the country have planted him to weaken institutions like the judiciary and the army, and to create divisions among people. This 10% remark is treason - an insult to all the soldiers who have sacrificed their lives for the nation. He talks nonsense and speaks in a way that amounts to treason. We must also question why Rahul Gandhi frequently travels abroad; the government should inquire into this."
