Gaurav Gogoi told NDTV that the Prime Minister has outlined that there is severe stress due to the war in the Middle East. During the elections, the PM did not issue any word of caution, but now they are advising people. Now it is the responsibility of the BJP government, more so in Assam. On attending Himanta's oath ceremony congress leader said "These ceremonies have now become BJP’s political agenda and not mere government events. There is no parliamentary decency, and it does not seem right for Congress to participate, but we will decide."
