The 17th Lok Sabha helped end the injustice of generations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said as he spoke about banning Triple Talaq. "The courts ordered in favour of Muslim women but they couldn't enjoy its benefit. This Lok Sabha helped end the injustice of generations and has done the very important work of doing away with triple talaq and respecting women's power," he said.
